The award committee has selected Haier’s model No HRD-1955, 5 Star Range to be the winner in the said category. Haier has been recognized by BEE at NECA for the 2nd consecutive year in a row.The award ceremony held at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi was facilitated by President of India, Droupadi Murmu along with other dignitaries including RK Singh, Union Minister of Power, New and Renewable Energy, Krishan Pal, Minister of State for Power and Heavy Industries and Alok Kumar, Secretary, Ministry of Power.

Along with the 5-star rating, the HRD-1955 Direct Cool refrigerator is equipped with a heavy-duty compressor that is capable of providing stabilizer-free operation. Additionally, the highly advanced 1-hour icing technology brings down the water temperature to the icing point in precisely 60 minutes, thus making ice faster than anyone in the category.The refrigerator comes in a wide finish range of glass, floral and steel to complement the Indian kitchen space and has multiple aesthetic appearances - Mirror Glass, Black Glass, Shiny Steel, and Red Glass. These designs were conceptualized keeping in mind the customer needs and contemporary Indian kitchen space.
