Hatsun Tennikoit Academy to host 25th South Zone Senior National Tennikoit championship for Men and Women 2023-2024

The 25th South Zone Senior National Tennikoit Championship for Men and Women 2023-2024 has been scheduled at Sivanesa Pandian Tennikoit Arena at Hatsun Tennikoit Academy in Thiruthangal, Tamil Nadu. The event was announced open by Mr. M Rajiv Vignesh, Director, V.V.V & Sons Edible Oil Ltd in the presence of Mr R G Chandramogan, Chairman, Hatsun Agro Products Ltd. 

Along with him, TKFI , Secretary general, A.Yadaiah, TKFI, Vice President, V.Sowbagya varadarajan, TKFI, Treasurer, H.S.Shrikanth, TKFI, Org - secretary, M.R.Dinesh Kumar, TN tennikoit association, Convenor,  D. Shankar, TKFI, - Referees board,Convenor K.R.V.Shyam Sundar, TKFI, Coaching committee, Chairman, B.Murali, and Hatsun Badminton centre chief mentor Ajith haridass were present in the event.

The tournament is conducted by Tamil Nadu Tennikoit Association and sponsored by Arun Ice cream.  A grand inaugural event which happened on the 16th of June 2023  witnessed large number sports enthusiasts. The tournament will see participation from the states of Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, and Kerala. During the course of the tournament, the top 6 men and 6 women from each state will be selected and these players will play in the subsequent rounds. While the first and second ranking players will play in Singles team champion, 3rd and 4th ranking will play in doubles team champion, 5th and 6th ranking will play in Mix team champions.

Mr Ajith Haridas, Chief Mentor, Hatsun Sports Academy welcomed the participants and said, "As a centre of excellence, we wish to host more events like this and give opportunities to more players."

We welcome the athletes from all the six south Indian states. The facility has been carefully created to cater to every need and hope of the athletes to use it and excel in the Tennikoit sport.”
