Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu inaugurated Pinnacle Infotech’s largest Global Engineering Center of Excellence in Madurai



M. K. Stalin,Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, inaugurated Pinnacle Infotech’s largest Global Engineering Center of Excellence in Madurai on Saturday through VC in the presence of Palanivel Thiaga Rajan, IT and Digital Services Minister, Govt. of Tamil Nadu, and the company's co-founder and CEO, Mr. Bimal Patwari and co-founder Mrs. Sapna Patwari.Also present at the occasion were J. Kumaragurubaran, IAS Managing Director, ELCOT, and Dr. S. Aneesh Sekhar, I.A.S.,  Mr. Biswaroop Todi, Vice President Pinnacle, Mr. Somesh Gupta, VP, and Chief Growth Officer and Pankaj Sao, Head of Madurai operations.

Electronics Corporation of Tamil Nadu (ELCOT), has allotted 34.09 acre of land  to M/s Pinnacle Infotech Solutions at ELCOSEZ, Vadapalanji, Madurai. M/s Pinnacle Infotech Solutions has completed their first phase of construction in a total built up space of 1,80,000 sq.ft completed in ten months and set a record with an investment of Rs.120 crore and has offered employment for 950 professionals and has facilities like a world-class server room and data center, a state-of-the-art training center, a cafeteria, and a beautiful landscape with a natural canyon. Indian Green Building Council (IGBC) has conferred a Platinum rating to the building.

This state-of-the-art IT Building is poised to create a substantial impact on the local community by offering employment for approximately 6,000 professionals by the year 2026, contributing significantly to the region's employment landscape. The inauguration of the IT Building signifies a pivotal moment in Madurai's journey as an emerging hub for the IT sector and bolstering the region's technological infrastructure and fostering economic growth.

Speaking about this new facility in India, Mr. Bimal Patwari, co-founder, and CEO of Pinnacle Infotech, said, “Our Madurai Campus has been designed to be the world's largest BIM engineering center of excellence. We chose Tamil Nadu because it has the engineering and architectural talent to set up this niche center of excellence. We are grateful to the Tamil Nadu Government and ELCOT for their prompt support and guidance. We have already recruited 920+ local talents here, and by 2025, we aim to hire 6,000 engineers and architects in this world-class facility.” “We are convinced that our Global Engineering Center of Excellence in Madurai would bring pride and glory to Tamil Nadu and India by becoming one of the world's most reputed and modern centers,” Mr. Patwari added.

While the first phase is ready and operational, the foundation stone of Phase II was laid today by Thiru Palanivel Thiaga Rajan, Hon'ble IT and Digital Services Minister of Govt. of Tamil Nadu. As part of the second phase of construction, the other wing of the current building would be operational by August 2024 and would add another 2,000 employees. The third phase is projected to be operational in 2025, accommodating 2,600 employees. Madurai campus will have a world-class R&D center, Auditorium, Construction practices training center, amphitheater, and indoor and outdoor recreational spaces like a playground, gymnasium, etc.
