Kasi to Rameswaram Special Pilgrimage Train commences on August 11

South Star Rail, a rail service under the Bharat Gaurav Train by the Indian Railways, has begun operating regular all inclusive tourist trains between Kashi & Rameswaram connecting other important destinations. The tourist train, originates from Madurai. The ticket booking has begun for this pilgrim special tourist special train. Travel Times, a Govt of India, Ministry of Tourism recognized tour operator with over 44years of experience in operating over 600 tourist trains will be the service providers

The first departure of Kasi Rameswaram Yatra Rail will commence on 11.08.2023. Passengers can board in any of these Madurai, Dindigul Jn., Trichy, Vridhachalam Jn., Villupuram Jn.,Chengalpattu, Chennai Egmore, Katpadi Jn in Tamil Nadu. The total duration of the tour package is 11days.

There are many attractions for yatris on this special tourist train including offering special facilities to senior citizens, state and central government employees can avail LTC facility, the train comprises of 1AC, 2AC, 3AC, 2SL coaches with a pantry car. Unlimited South Indian meals onboard and off board will be served. It also provides, sightseeing and transfers, tour managers &security guards. CCTV cameras have been installed for security purposes. Added advantage for senior would be that yatris may leave their luggage in the coaches while going for sightseeing or a night stay. Train coordinators and managers are available to help tourists. A doctor is on board to attend emergencies.
