TiE Chennai is proud to relaunch its TiE Reach program, an initiative aimed at extending the mission of TiE Chennai to entrepreneurs in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities in Tamil Nadu. The program seeks to bridge the gap between smaller towns, less developed areas and thriving business hubs.
The focus of this initiative is to empower entrepreneurs by giving them access to a supportive ecosystem, industry trends, and best business practices. Every month, two Tier 2 / Tier 3 towns in Tamil Nadu will be identified for this program based on their potential for entrepreneurship and the need for resources and support.
The program commenced before the Covid era, and TiE Chennai is thrilled to revitalize it and extend its reach to districts across Tamil Nadu. Following its recommencement two months ago, impactful events have already been successfully organized in Salem, Erode, Kumbakonam, and Cuddalore.
We are excited that the next TiE Reach event happened in Madurai on Saturday, July 29, at the Pandyan Hall, located in Fortune Pandiyan Hotel.
The event featured distinguished speakers who have made remarkable contributions to the entrepreneurial community and beyond. Mr. CK Ranganathan, Managing Director of CavinKare Pvt. Ltd, and President of TiE Chennai, addressed the audience on the topic ‘Why small businesses remain small? ‘ Mr. Murugavel Janakiraman, Founder & CEO of Bharath Matrimony, and Governing Council Member of TiE Chennai, shared his insights on ‘Scaling Up – Growth Ideas’. The event also included an introduction about TiE Chennai and its impact by the chapter’s Executive Director, Akhila Rajeshwar.
