Skoda rolled out Elegant Edition car for Rs. 17,52,000

 

Škoda Auto India has announced a new, exclusive version Elegance Edition in the Kushaq and Slavia. Both cars will be produced in a limited amount and will be available exclusively with the 1.5 TSI engine. Kushaq Elegance Edition  1.5 TSI MT available at Rs.18,31,000/- & DSG at Rs.19,51,000/-. Slavia Elegance Edition 1.5 TSI MT available at Rs.17,52,000/- and DSG Rs.18,92,000/-.

 The Elegance Editions of the Kushaq and Slavia will exclusively be powered by the 1.5 TSI turbo-petrol engine. Customers can choose to pair this with a 7-speed DSG automatic or the 6-speed manual.  It  is powered exclusively by the state-of-the-art 1.5 TSI. An advanced 1.5-litre EVO-generation power plant, this four-cylinder turbo petrol engine makes 110 kW  of power and 250 Nm of torque.

The Elegance Edition offers a classic, all-new and stunning Deep Black paint in both the cars while retaining the rich chrome elements all around. The Kushaq gets a 17-inch VEGA Dual Tone alloy design that accentuates style and its rough terrain stance, while the Slavia’s classic sedan lines are enhanced by the 16-inch Ving Alloy Wheels. Opening the doors will reveal the prominent brand logo projection from the Škoda genuine accessories puddle lamp that adds an element of class and utility when stepping in and out of the cars. 

 Elegance Edition customers will get attractive textile mats and ‘Elegance’ branded cushions, seat-belt cushions as well as neck rests, Electric seats for the driver and co-driver, illuminated footwell area, 25.4 cm infotainment screen with Škoda Play Apps, Apple Carplay, Android Auto, 6 Speakers + Subwoofer in the boot of the Kushaq and Slavia.

The turbocharger in this engine features variable vane geometry, which produces more torque at a wider range of engine speeds. The cylinder liners are plasma-coated with a layer that measures just 0.15 mm, replacing cast-iron liners in the cylinder crankcase.  The segment-first Active Cylinder Technology (ACT) in the 1.5 TSI automatically shuts down two cylinders under a low load, further reducing fuel consumption and CO2 emissions.
