Anifa Biryani provided Biryani to 2500 destitute people



On the occasion of World Hunger Day, a program was held in Theni district, where 2500 destitute people were given Biryani. King Of Biryani - Anifa Biryani Restaurant, hosted this heartwarming program. The Vijay TV fame KPY Bala joined as a special guest for the program and distributed the food to the people.  

May 28, is announced as World Hunger Day. Millions of people worldwide are suffering from hunger and starving. The World Hunger Day is observed to raise awareness about hunger. In many countries, people used to provide food to the needy and unprivileged on this day.  This year, on World Hunger Day, A popular Biryani Restaurant - Anifa Biryani which was based out of Theni conducted a program to provide biryani to thousands of needy. A specially designed food truck for this program ran across Theni and provided food to the people on roadside and NGO’s. 

The free food truck was flagged off by the Special guest, social activist, KPY Bala in presence of EX MP Mr. Thanga Thamizhselvan. Following that Bala also distributed the biryani packets to the people. 

Talking about the program, Anifa Biryani Founder Mr. Bhasith Rahman said, “We are operating successfully with 25 branches across TamilNadu. To help the unprivileged, today on World Hunger Day we have distributed Biryani packets to thousands of people. The Biryani distribution happened in our other branches too. Totally we have distributed 2500 food packets”
