The highly awaited Medical Expo 2024, hosted by Hello Mentor, successfully concluded its Chennai Edition. The event was tailored to Tamil Nadu’s NEET aspirants and their parents. Medical Expo 2024 took place at Kamarajar Arangam, Anna Salai, Teynampet, on Sunday, May 26. The event simplified the complexities of the medical admission process in Tamil Nadu and India and provided much-needed guidance for securing desired medical seats. The Hello Mentor Medical Expo focused on this important need, gathering over 5000 NEET UG aspirants and parents eager to gain insights and clarity.
The Expo was structured into three impactful sessions, and started with Seminar: NEET Counselling Guidance Sessions. Hello Mentor’s Founder and CEO, Vikram Kumar and Sujeet Jha, the organization’s Learning and Development Director, led the sessions. These Guidance sessions thoroughly analysed the NEET counselling and admission processes. Attendees were provided with a clear, step-by-step guide and important statistics and trends from the beginning of registration to the final seat allocation. After the seminar, Students and parents could interact with Hello Mentor’s 20+ counselling experts in ‘One-to-One Sessions’ at over 20 booths.
In the Personalized Guidance One-to-One Sessions attendees engaged directly with 20+ NEET counselling experts at these booths. Hello Mentor’s experts addressed individual doubts about college cut-offs, fee structures, required documents, and eligibility criteria. The tailored 1-to-1 sessions were followed by a Panel Discussion exclusively tailored to Tamil Nadu’s NEET aspirants and their parents. In the Panel Discussion, educators and important figures from India’s top medical colleges graced this session.
The experts informed the attendees about the several factors of medical education and careers. More than 10 medical professionals enriched the audience with their insights.The discussions covered topics such as choosing the right medical college, alternative healthcare careers, and the realities of medical student life. The event also saw the launch of Hello Mentor’s 2024 Medical Guidebook and India’s first-ever counselling support portal, www.hellomentor.in.
