Modular OT Complex at KIMSHEALTH Nagercoil Inaugurated by MLA M.R.Gandhi

KIMSHEALTH, renowned for its 22-year legacy of healthcare excellence in India and the Middle East, inaugurated its state-of-the-art Modular OT complex at its facility in Nagercoil. The complex was inaugurated by M.R. Gandhi, MLA, Nagercoil, Tamil Nadu, in the presence of Dr. M.I. Sahadulla, Chairman and Managing Director, KIMSHEALTH.  

Spanning over 7,000 square feet, the OT complex also includes four pre-operative beds, five post-operative care beds, an OT pharmacy, a sterile store, two OT counselling rooms, one anaesthetist room, an equipment store, and lounges for doctors and staff. The complex operates 24/7 to ensure accessible and continuous surgical care.

The newly equipped OT complex features five advanced operating theatres, enabling the clinical team to perform a wide range of surgeries, including general and laparoscopic, orthopaedic, neurosurgery, oncology, surgical gastroenterology, urology, gynaecology, and more. Two of the operating theatres will be exclusively dedicated to multi-organ transplants.The complex incorporates laminar flow and HEPA filters to minimise the risk of infections.

In his inaugural address, M.R. Gandhi stated that the advanced OT complex would provide timely relief to patients requiring surgery. He also commended KIMSHEALTH for its commitment to personalised care, world-class clinical protocols, and ethical standards.

Dr. M.I. Sahadulla pointed out that this OT complex is designed with the latest advancements in medical technology and patient comfort in mind. He also added that the modular design allows for easy maintenance and quick updates as medical technology evolves over time.
