ACC, the cement and building material company of the diversified Adani Portfolio, proudly supports K.C. Mani-an 88-year-old contractor whose extraordinary life of service, craftsmanship, and community upliftment has transformed Yelagiri Hills. Born in 1945 in a small Tamil Nadu village, Mani’s journey began with adversity. Forced to abandon school, he later became a construction worker, gradually building expertise.
A turning point came in 1975 when he was entrusted with building a school-marking the start of a decades-long mission to modernise Yelagiri Hills with cement-built structures. Supported by his wife, who has run a cement sales outlet for over 30 years, Mani has built 100+ homes for underprivileged families and trained over 75 young villagers in construction, many of whom now lead successful careers. With unwavering dedication, he continues to lead new projects, including schools, even today.
Through its high-quality products, services, and values, ACC stands proudly with changemakers like K.C. Mani, whose legacy is not only seen in buildings, but in the number of lives empowered and futures transformed.
