Star Health Hosts Mega Free Medical Camp in Coimbatore for Agents and their Families



STAR Health Insurance, Tamil Nadu Region 5 organized a Mega Agents Exclusive Free Medical Camp at COINDIA Auditorium, Coimbatore, benefiting over 500 agents and their family members. The initiative, in collaboration with Ann Hospital, aimed to promote preventive healthcare and wellness among the Star Health’s agent community.

The event was graced by Hon’ble Mayor of Coimbatore, Mrs. Ranganayaki Ramachandran, and STAR Health’s team led by Mr. Sriram Ragunandhanan (CHRO), Mr. C. Balajibabu (Business Head - EVP), along with the Zonal Leadership Team comprising Mr. Prabu Rajamanickam, Mr. Mukunth, Mr. Gunasekaran, Mr. Saravanan, Dr. Sowmya, and team.

The Mayor inaugurated the camp by lighting the ceremonial lamp and appreciated STAR Health Insurance’s initiative, which included comprehensive screenings and specialist consultations in general medicine, orthopaedics, gynaecology, ophthalmology, dentistry, physiotherapy, and nutrition-services valued at approximately ₹6,000 per person. She encouraged to have  such initiatives across districts and suggested extending them to the wider public.

Mr. C. Balajibabu highlighted the importance of regular medical camps for agents, ensuring their well-being, care, and fostering strong bonds. He also noted that Coimbatore Zone achieved ₹210+ crore in new business and settled 23,800+ claims totaling ₹143.50 crore, reflecting the team’s commitment to delivering exceptional health insurance services.

Mr. Sriram Ragunandhanan emphasized STAR Health Insurance’s commitment to agent welfare, explaining that a healthy workforce strengthens service delivery and community impact.The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Mr. Prabu Rajamanickam, acknowledging the efforts of dignitaries, employees, agents, Area Managers, Branch Managers, and the Coimbatore team for their support in organizing the camp.
