STAR Health and Allied Insurance, a leading private health insurance provider in India, inaugurated its new Main Branch at Cantonment, Trichy, in a grand ceremony.
The inauguration was graced by the STAR Health Insurance, Chief Human Resource Officer Mr. Sriram Ragunandhanan, STAR Health Insurance, Business Head & Sr. Executive Vice President, Mr. Balajibabu C, along with the STAR Health Insurance, Zonal Head, Mr. Ashok R, who commenced the event with the traditional Purna Kumbham welcome and the ceremonial lighting of the lamp.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Balajibabu C, Regional Business Head - Region 5 (RO5), shared a brief overview of STAR Health’s achievements, including last year’s business growth, claims settled, agent strength, expansion of network hospitals, customer-centric wellness programs, and future growth plans.
Reiterating the company’s mission, Mr. Balajibabu C stated:“Understanding the needs of our customers and providing them with easy, branch-level access to quality health insurance services has always been STAR Health’s core objective.”
Customer-Centric Service at Its Best: In the current financial year, the Trichy Zone has successfully settled 9,836 policy claims amounting to ₹72 crore, reaffirming STAR Health’s commitment to prompt and reliable support for its customers. Alongside this, the zone has achieved an impressive ₹21.5 crore in new business, further strengthening its presence and trust within the community. His concise and impactful address became one of the highlights of the event.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Mr. R. Ashok, who expressed heartfelt gratitude to the dignitaries, employees, agents, and the public for their presence and support.
With the inauguration of the new Main Branch at Cantonment, STAR Health aims to bring its trusted and accessible healthcare protection closer to the people of Trichy, further strengthening its service network and customer outreach.
