Minister Palanivel Thiagarajan receives The Rise “Arivu Perunjudar” Award



Tamil Nadu Minister for Information Technology and Digital Services, Mr. Palanivel Thiagarajan, was presented with The Rise “Arivu Perunjudar” Award at the Tamil Entrepreneurs Summit organised by The Rise Organisation.

On behalf of The Rise organization, the Global Tamil Entrepreneurs Summit titled “Sangam 5” began in a grand manner at Alanganallur, Madurai, alongside the traditional Jallikattu event. On the second day, an award ceremony honoring achievers and various sector-specific sessions were held.

On the third day, the morning events included an international medical conference, a higher education conference, a session dedicated to the IT sector, and a special session for women entrepreneurs.

In the evening, the “NextGen Education Leadership Awards” ceremony was held with great distinction. Tamil Nadu Minister for Information Technology and Digital Services, Dr. Palanivel Thiagarajan, presided over the event presented the awards and delivered a special address.

The award ceremony was presided over by The Rise founder Rev. Father Jegath Gaspar Raj. Managing Director of Tecton Engineering and Construction Mr. S. Lakshmanan, Founder and CEO of Peggy Todd AI Mr. Ganesh Radhakrishnan, Director, Microsoft AI (USA) Mr. Cecil Sundar, and Chairman of Aatral Global Mr.Irai Mathiazhagan and others were also present at the event.

On the final day of the conference, January 11 (Sunday), at 8:00 a.m., the Global Tamils Unity Pongal celebration will be held at Keezhadi. For the first time in Keezhadi’s history, this traditional festival will feature more than 250 Pongal pots, with Tamils from 55 countries participating in the celebration.
