Coromandel International Limited, one of India’s leading agri-solutions providers, has enhanced healthcare facilities at the Government Primary Health Centre (PHC) in Thiruchopuram by inaugurating a Siddha Herbal Garden and sponsoring essential medical equipment and other infrastructure. The initiative, undertaken as part of Coromandel’s Coro Arogya programme, aims to strengthen preventive care and improve access to basic health services for rural communities in and around Thiruchopuram and Thiyagavalli panchayats of Cuddalore district.
The project involved setting up a dedicated Siddha Herbal Garden within the PHC premises to promote traditional wellness practices aligned with the Tamil Nadu Government’s emphasis on Siddha healthcare. In addition, Coromandel supported the centre with essential medical apparatus and basic furnishings—including patient benches, tables, chairs, and storage units—to improve service delivery and patient comfort.
