TVS Cheema Scholarship Foundation (TVSCSF) continues its commitment to supporting deserving students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds by providing interest-free educational loans for higher education in Tamil Nadu and Karnataka.
Inspired by the work of Srinivasan Services Trust (SST), the social development arm of the TVS Group, the Foundation seeks to create educational opportunities and empower future generations through access to quality education.
For nearly three decades, SST has been working alongside rural communities across more than 2,500 villages in five states, driving sustainable development through initiatives in education, healthcare, agriculture and livestock development, water conservation, infrastructure and environmental improvement. Its community-centred approach focuses on empowerment, participation and long-term sustainability.
As part of this commitment, TVS Cheema Scholarship Foundation provides interest-free educational loans for students pursuing engineering, nursing and diploma courses.
Through awareness programmes conducted across villages, schools, self-help groups, parent-teacher associations and community networks, SST educates students and families regarding educational opportunities and access financial support for higher studies.
During FY 2025-26, TVS Cheema Scholarship Foundation supported around 300 students pursuing engineering, nursing and diploma programmes through interest-free educational loans. The programme supports students based on eligibility criteria, irrespective of caste, community or social background.
