Star Health Conducts Exclusive Medical Camps for 300+ Advisors and Family Members Across Four Locations in Tirunelveli

Star Health and Allied Insurance Company Limited, one of India’s leading standalone health insurance companies, conducted a series of exclusive medical camps for its Advisors and their families across four locations in Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu - Tirunelveli City, Marthandam, Thuckalay and Kovilpatti - benefiting more than 300 Advisors and family members. The initiative forms part of Star Health’s continued pursuit to take care of its Advisor community by bringing preventive healthcare, medical consultations and health awareness closer to them and their families.

Recognising the pivotal role Advisors play in helping individuals and families understand and access health insurance, Star Health believes that caring for its Advisor community also means supporting their health and well-being. The medical camps were designed to encourage regular health monitoring, early identification of potential health concerns and greater awareness of preventive healthcare.

The camps were conducted in association with Ananthapuri Hospital & Research Institute, Thiruvananthapuram; Kanyakumari Medical Mission Hospital, Neyyoor; Aarthi Hospital, Kovilpatti; and Kauvery Hospital, Tirunelveli.

Participants underwent comprehensive preventive health screenings, including blood pressure, blood sugar, ECG, ECHO, bone density, height and weight assessments. These were followed by consultations and personalised health guidance from specialist doctors, enabling Advisors and their family members to better understand their health parameters and take timely action where required.

The medical teams also conducted health awareness sessions covering preventive healthcare, healthy lifestyle practices and emergency management. Addressing the participants, Mr. P. Sankar, Zonal Manager, Star Health Insurance, highlighted the importance of making preventive health checks a regular part of healthcare and encouraged Advisors and their families to prioritise their health.

Star Health’s focus on its Advisor community is supported by its strong presence in the region. The company currently protects over 1.90 lakh lives in the Tirunelveli region through its health insurance solutions. Since inception, Star Health has settled claims worth ₹394 crore, including 13,395 claims amounting to ₹72 crore in FY26.
