Women will endure anything; we will achieve anything! Minister Ku. Jegadeshwari speech in the Legislative Assembly

Women are overcoming the challenges and hardships they face in society and are creating a strong place for themselves in politics and governance. With the support of Chief Minister Vijay Anna, we will endure anything; we will achieve anything, said Tamil Nadu Minister for Social Welfare and Women’s Rights, Ku. Jegadeswari, in the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly.

Speaking in the Legislative Assembly today, Minister Ku. Jegadeswari emotionally spoke about the challenges she has had to face as a woman in society and the hardships women go through. She also noted that Chief Minister Vijay Anna is the biggest support that gives women confidence and courage.

Speaking on the occasion, she said, “I would like to share here how many difficulties there are in living in this society as a woman and how many hardships we are going through. The only biggest support we have is our Chief Minister Vijay Anna.”

Further, she said, “I have been travelling with Anna for more than 18 years. I was with Anna then; even now, I am travelling only with Anna. Although I am standing here and speaking as a courageous woman today, there will naturally be a little hesitation when I take a paper in my hand and read from it. Because no one has learnt everything immediately and come here.”

Speaking about women’s political participation, the Minister said, “The only reason we are hesitating is that this is new to us. Other than that, it does not mean that we do not have educational knowledge or ability.”

Continuing, she firmly said, “In the next Legislative Assembly session, the voices of all our women will be heard very boldly and courageously. Our Vijay Anna has given us the confidence and courage for that.”

In her speech, the Minister stressed that the initial hesitations faced by women should not be viewed as a lack of their ability, and that the hesitation that arises when facing new responsibilities and new fields will go away through experience.

Concluding her speech in a manner that expressed women’s self-confidence and determination for future achievements, Minister Ku. Jegadeswari firmly said, “We will endure anything; we will achieve anything!”
